The Artist

Jessica Rollins is one of the most sought after commissioned artists in the East Metro Atlanta area. Coming from a very artistic family, she has flourished her passion for art by not limiting herself to one particular style. As a freelance artist, she not only appeals to the whimsical world of children’s murals, but also to the wide realm of sophisticated realism.

Born into the McDonald family in 1980, her roots have grown deep into the city of Conyers. Ever since she was a child, her artistic talent was noticed and nurtured. Though her passion for sketching grew in middle school, it wasn’t until high school that she discovered the love of painting. Graduating from Heritage High School in 1998, she began pursuing her artistic passion as a commissioned artist.

In 2001 she married Kevin Rollins, who is currently the sales and marketing manager for Accu-Grafix which is a local sign and graphic design shop established by her father. With artistic roots running deep, her art has never ceased to amaze and bring smiles to those who see it.

One of her latest projects is open to the public. Clippity-Do-Da is a children’s hair salon located on the historic Covington Square. Creating the park and city themed mural as well as assisting in the design of the salon, Jessica displays her talent in every inch of the store. Visitors are always welcome, regardless of whether you’re a child in need of a trim or merely a child at heart curious to experience the imaginary city created by an artist’s hand.
